Cura Hospitality seeks an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Kane Dietitians in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life in line with residents’ goals.

You will educate the care team, adhere to practice standards, and contribute to QA programs while coordinating with departments to implement nutrition services effectively.

Qualifications

• Passed national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years as per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care team and educate patients, residents, staff or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies in dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
