Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will identify and assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life in line with residents' goals.

You will provide nutritional expertise to the health care team, educate patients, staff, and consultants, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Pass national exam by the CDR or eligibility for exam.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising quality improvement programs.
