Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services in a long-term care facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, educate patients and staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role includes coverage across facilities as needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible options. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to support resident well-being and CMS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing in the practice state.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and regulatory nutrition care requirements (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance as required by state/local/customers.
• If multi-site RD, valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents/patients nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure CMS/state/federal regulatory compliance and company standards.
• Provide coverage across buildings based on needs and as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
