Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support clinical nutritional services in a Bowling Green, VA long-term care facility. Flexible, Monday–Friday schedules with both full-time and part-time openings.

RD eligibility and state licensure are required; provisional licensure accepted in some locations. Training and strong team support are available to enhance resident health and experiences.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local/customers.
• Multi-site RD must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents'/patients' clinical nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings; monitor weight, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
