Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility.

Monday to Friday with flexible schedules, you will contribute to resident well-being. Responsibilities include assessing residents’ nutrition needs, developing and documenting care plans, delivering nutrition education, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply as required by state/local/customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, and weight trends.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents’ health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
