Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Graduates after Jan 1, 2024 must complete a master’s degree by an accredited university.
- Complete ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level program.
Responsibilities
- Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions.
- Uses Nutrition Care Process to deliver complex nutrition care with guidance from advanced dietitians.
- Mentors new graduates, interns, and clinical diet techs.
- Applies evidence-based research to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to update care practices.
