Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and lead nutrition care across care settings. You will utilize the Nutrition Care Process with support from senior dietitians and apply advanced counseling for behavior change within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, utilization of nutrition technology, and mentoring of new graduates and interns, with focused responsibility for program updates and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a minimum of a master’s degree by an accredited university.
• Education is verified.
• Completion of an ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level competency-based dietitian nutritionist program.
• State licensure or certification in accordance with the primary state of practice requirement for Registered Dietitians.
• If the primary state of practice requires licensure or certification, this must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to apply the Nutrition Care Process in multiple patient populations and/or disease types.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply evidence-based research to clinical practice.

Responsabilités

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions and/or populations.
• Uses the Nutrition Care Process to deliver complex nutrition care with guidance from advanced practice dietitians.
• Applies advanced counseling techniques to support behavior change.
• Uses nutrition technology to estimate needs and goals (e.g., indirect calorimetry, software, glucometers).
• Mentors graduates, interns, and clinical diet techs.
• Implements evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team to update practices.
