Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide medical nutrition therapy across patient populations.

The role uses the Nutrition Care Process with guidance from senior dietitians and incorporates technology to estimate needs and goals. You will mentor interns and new graduates, apply the latest evidence-based practices with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to care improvements within the facility.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Master’s degree completion by an accredited university (post-2024 graduates).
• Completion of an ACEND accredited program (DPR/DI/CoP or equivalent).
• State licensure or certification aligned with the practice state; obtain within 6 months.
• Proven ability to apply Nutrition Care Process across populations and disease types.
• Ability to interpret and apply evidence-based research in clinical practice.

Responsabilités

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions.
• Uses Nutrition Care Process with advanced guidance from senior dietitians.
• Uses advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Uses technology in estimating needs and nutrition goals (e.g., indirect calorimetry, software).
• Mentors newly graduated dietitians, dietetic interns, and clinical diet techs.
• Applies research to improve patient outcomes.
• Implements evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team and in care updates.
• Manages nutrition care across the continuum including DME order writing.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist order writing privileges per policy/protocol.
