Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and lead nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and mentor newer staff.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, advanced counseling, and technology-assisted nutrition assessment, with a focus on specialized populations and complex cases.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Master’s degree required for grads after Jan 1, 2024.
• ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level program completed.
• State licensure/certification per state requirements; obtained within 6 months.
• Demonstrated ability to apply the Nutrition Care Process across populations.
• Ability to interpret and apply evidence-based research to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions.
• Uses the Nutrition Care Process with guidance from advanced dietitians.
• Applies advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Mentors new graduates, interns, and clinical diet techs.
• Implements evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team.
