Job summary

Nutrition that Works, LLC is seeking a consultant dietitian to join our team in Flint, MI, offering 20-24 hours per week with potential hybrid coverage. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and competitive pay for a part-time assignment.

The successful candidate will complete clinical nutrition assessments, document with the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR, and collaborate with the care plan team. MDS Section K, TF calculations, and weight-change/wound‑care recommendations are involved.

Qualifications

• Credentials required: CDR credentialed dietitian and license to practice dietetics.
• Client-centered approach and positive attitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams.
• Experience with nutrition care planning and documentation.
• Familiarity with EMR documentation and care planning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical nutrition assessments.
• Document using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care plan team.
• Complete the MDS - Section K assessments.
• Calculate TF and monitor wound care and weight changes.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for wound care and significant weight changes.
