Job summary

Metcalfe Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to assess residents, provide diet教育, and participate in care planning within a skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate will hold current state licensure and CDR credentials, be organized, and have an interest in future management roles. Experience supervising kitchen staff is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current state dietetic licensure in good standing.
• CDR credentials required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff in a nursing home setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and/or families to complete nutritional assessments.
• Provide diet education to residents and families as needed.
• Attend care plan meetings to collaborate care with the resident, families, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Facilitate weight processes, monitor for weight changes, and report at weekly at-risk meetings.
• Assess and recommend nutrition interventions related to wounds, tube feeding, and dialysis.
