Metcalfe Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role focuses on nutritional assessments, care planning, and education for residents and families.

The ideal candidate will hold current state dietetic licensure, CDR credentials, and strong organizational and communication skills; supervisory experience preferred but not required. This position emphasizes quality in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and/or families to complete nutritional assessments
• Provide diet education to residents and families as needed
• Attend care plan meetings to collaborate care with the resident, families, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Facilitate weight processes, monitor for weight changes, and report at weekly at-risk meetings
• Assess and recommend nutrition interventions related to wounds, tube feeding, and dialysis
