Meadowood Nursing Center seeks a Dietitian to plan, organize, and direct the Food Services Department, ensuring quality nutrition and a clean, sanitary environment in line with federal, state, and local standards.
As Dietitian, you have administrative authority and will review policies, implement corrective plans after surveys, assist the QA committee, and conduct regular inspections of dietary areas for sanitation and safety.
The primary purpose of the job position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are being provided on a daily basis and that the food services department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
AsDietitian, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Additional duties to include:
Eduation:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Must have, as a minimum, 1 year(s) experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
