Job summary

RegalCare at Glen Ridge, a leading skilled nursing facility in Massachusetts, seeks a Registered Dietitian to enhance residents' quality of life through personalized nutrition care plans. You will assess nutritional needs, develop tailored interventions, and monitor progress in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

A $3,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid at 6 and 12 months. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to nutrition guidelines in a long-term care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Current registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• State licensure as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as needed.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on residents' medical conditions, dietary preferences, and cultural considerations.
• Provide ongoing nutrition education and counseling to residents and their families.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and dietary intake, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to nutrition and food service.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
