Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Role is eligible for team-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, coordinates residents' nutritional care by conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting dietary information, ensuring alignment with regional guidelines.

• Consults with residents to evaluate nutritional needs, using assessment tools; develops nutrition care plans collaboratively; makes referrals; conducts follow-ups.
• Documents care information; participates in case conferences; reviews records; adjusts diet plans accordingly.
• Supervises residents with high-risk conditions like diabetes and obesity.
• Develops nutritional education materials; conducts staff training; stays current through conferences and educational programs.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition Science, or a related field with two years of counseling experience.

Certifications and Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian; valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.

Management/Decision Making: Applies guidelines and uses judgment to make decisions; solves moderately complex problems based on experience and reasonableness.

Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of nutrition principles, practices, and diverse populations; skilled in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Standing, walking, sitting, and occasional weekend/evening work.
• Use of hands; reaching; possible exposure to communicable diseases, latex, blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and hazards.
• Ability to lift up to 5 pounds; travel occasionally required.

$62,040.00 - $77,550.00 annually.
