Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, passing instruments and materials, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

The RDA will operate x-ray equipment, take x-rays, perform prophy, instruct patients on oral hygiene, chart and treatment plan with the doctor, sterilize instruments, and set up rooms for hygiene and treatment.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience or training preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant License; X-Ray Certification; Coronal Polish Certification; Current BLS; Sealant Certification are required or preferred as noted

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene

Registered Dental Assistant

The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range

$21.83-$29.23/hr (based on experience)

Education and/or Experience
