Job summary

Dental Kidz Club is a pediatric dental practice in California seeking a compassionate dental assistant to support our clinicians and greet young patients with a friendly smile.

You will take radiographs and impressions, help with chair-side procedures, and maintain sterilized rooms while documenting care in patient records. Requires 6+ months experience and CPR/BCLS; CODA-accredited program preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of practical pediatric dental assistant experience.
• CPR or BCLS certification is required.
• CODA-accredited program preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with dental software for charting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Ensure patients are informed and comfortable before, during, and after appointments
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during treatment procedures
• Document dental care in patients' records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Pay:$23.00/hour and up with RDA; $19.00/hour and up without RDA

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable — before, during, and after their appointment — about their treatment and oral health

Clinical Support

• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during treatment procedures
• Document dental care services by charting in patients' records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Requirements

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant
• CPR or BCLS certification
• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Quick learner with problem-solving skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
