Smile Brands is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in a busy Downey, CA practice. You will assist during procedures, take X-rays, and help manage patient comfort and records.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• RDA license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dental setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist with front office tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
• Support the team with Smile Brands 3 G's: Greeting, Guiding and Gratitude.
