Job summary

Rancho Cordova Smiles Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering optimal treatment with urgency. You will help create the Perfect Patient Experience, keeping patients comfortable and focused on their care from start to finish.

You will perform x-rays, intra-oral photography, and patient education while maintaining strict infection control and OSHA-compliant practices in a clean, welcoming operatory.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED with required state courses.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred.
• Certification/licensure as required by state for dental assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in creating a positive patient experience.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care.
