Job summary

ProSmile is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant in Irvington, New Jersey, who will support both patients and doctors within our dynamo operations. This role includes essential duties such as patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Easily able to learn new technologies and systems.
• Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willing to pursue required.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in patient care chairside.
• Maintain inventory control in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Perform basic lab procedures such as taking impressions.
• Deliver patient interactions related to scheduling and record keeping.

Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments

Communication of medical information

Excellent organization and time management skills

Education

High School diploma or GED

X-ray License

Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant license
