Responsibilities include preparing patients, capturing digital x-rays, assisting procedures, sterilizing rooms, scheduling, HIPAA compliance, and enforcing cross-contamination standards.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant licensing required.
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications preferred.
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and verify codes with precision.
• Capture quality x-ray images and assist dentist with procedures.
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
• Discuss treatment options and follow-up care with patients.
• Support scheduling and patient engagement before, during and after visits.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain cross-contamination standards.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with the team for post-care instructions.
