Job summary

PDS Health's Lathrop Modern Dentistry is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). You will support dentists, take X-rays, educate patients, and help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and state-mandated certifications; an associate degree or certificate is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and PTO.

Salary range is $23.25–$32.50 per hour with potential weekend shift premium. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state certification/licensure.
• State-mandated certifications licenses registrations are required.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies.
