Rancho Cordova Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will perform patient care, assist with procedures, take X-rays and intra-oral photos, and help educate patients about oral health.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, state certifications as required, and relevant dental assisting training. We offer benefits and a team-focused environment in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with mandated state training courses for certification/licensure/registration.
• State-mandated certifications/licenses/registrations required by the applicable state (e.g., coronal polish, radiographs, ultrasonic scaling).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment and addressing needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to deliver efficient care.
• At the dentist's direction, take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, etc.).
