Job summary

Rancho Cordova Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering top-quality care. You will assist with patient preparation, chair-side procedures, and radiographs while ensuring a clean, sterile environment and compliance with safety regulations.

The role focuses on delivering a positive patient experience, educating patients, and supporting the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent
• State certifications/licensures as required by applicable state
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to deliver efficient, quality care
• Maintain sterile environment and comply with safety, infection control and regulatory standards
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and HR policies

Education
