Rodeo Dental in Texas seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to play a key role in delivering patient-focused care across orthodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. You will work in the Back Office and welcoming lobbies, supporting a seamless patient experience.

The position requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and demands adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols, with responsibilities ranging from charting and X-rays to inventory

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Dental Assistant license registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
• CPR and AED certification are required.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide is preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and infection control training is required.
• Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental or Dentrix) is helpful.
• Sealant, coronal polishing, and PALS certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilités

• End of week inventory to lead DA to replenish supplies.
• Prioritize patient and team safety as the top concern.
• Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Maintain digital patient records including health history, eligibility, treatment plans, and authorizations.
• Educate patients and families on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient wellbeing during visits.
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences and planned procedures.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, disinfected, stocked at start/end of interactions.
• Update patient charts with treatments provided and health history.
• Review charts pre-doctor arrival and confirm chief concerns.
• Take diagnostic X-rays and attach to charts.
• Assist Rodeo Team with cleaning duties in work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
