Job summary

Rodeo Dental seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to provide direct patient care across specialties and support both back-office and lobby operations. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate charting, and educating patients on oral health.

Responsibilities include inventory, radiography, chart updates, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE)
• Current CPR and AED training
• Nitrous Oxide monitoring certification preferred
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Dental practice management software experience (Open Dental/Dentrix) helpful
• Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• End-of-week inventory to replenish supplies
• Prioritize patient and team safety
• Adhere to OSHA and Infection Control protocols
• Maintain digital health history, eligibility, treatment plans, and charts
• Educate patients on oral health benefits
• Monitor patient well‑being during visits
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked and organized
• Update patient charts with treatments
• Review charts before doctor arrives and confirm concerns
• Take diagnostic X‑Rays and attach to charts
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of rooms and areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
