Qualifications

Active RDA license with Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
CPR and AED certification current.
Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred.
Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
Experience with dental practice management software Open Dental or Dentrix is helpful.
Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus.
Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

End of week inventory to replenish supplies with Lead DA.
Prioritize patient and team safety as priority.
Adhere to OSHA and Infection Control protocols and dispose of sharps safely.
Maintain digital patient records, eligibility, treatment plans and pre-authorizations.
Educate patients and parents on the benefits of good oral health.
Monitor patient well-being during visits.
Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences.
Clean, disinfect, organize, and stock exam rooms and operatories.
Document treatments in patient charts and review before doctor arrival.
Take diagnostic X-rays and attach to patient charts.
Assist Rodeo Team with cleaning and routine facility upkeep.
