Job summary

Rodeo Dental seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to support patient care across orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. You will work in the back office and lobby, focusing on safety, education, and accurate charting, while maintaining equipment and inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should hold a current TX RDA license, CPR/AED, OSHA/HIPAA training, and have experience with dental software; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license with TX Board of Dental Examiners.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training current.
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred.
• Open Dental or Dentrix experience helpful.
• Sealant, coronal polishing, or PALS certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and coordinate with Lead DA to replenish supplies.
• Prioritize patient and team safety; follow OSHA protocols.
• Update digital patient records: health history, eligibility, treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health benefits and procedures.
• Monitor patient well-being throughout visits and assist doctors.
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences and procedures.
• Disinfect and organize exam rooms; manage chart entries for procedures.
• Take diagnostic X-rays and attach to patient charts.
• Assist Rodeo Team with cleaning and sanitizing areas as needed.
