Pleasanton Ridge Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering quality care and a positive patient experience. You will assist with patient positioning, radiographs, and chair-side procedures while maintaining a clean, compliant practice.

The role emphasizes infection control, patient education, and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board requirements.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training.
• State-mmandated certifications/licenses/registrations (e.g., coronal polish, radiograph exposure).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and other regulations.
