Job summary

Alameda Landing Dentistry, part of Pacific Dental Services, LLC, seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering urgent, high-quality care. You will assist with patient setup, radiographs, intra-oral imaging, and chair-side care to help achieve optimal treatment outcomes.

Apply your infection-control knowledge and patient-education skills while maintaining a welcoming, clean office environment and following OSHA/ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training for certification/licensure.
• State certifications/licenses as required (e.g., coronal polish, radiograph exposure).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate; or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Promote the Perfect Patient Experience while addressing patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Assist doctors and take appropriate x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments/equipment per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc).
