Pleasanton Ridge Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists, educate patients, and maintain a sterile, welcoming environment. You will assist with taking X-rays, intra-oral photos, and chair-side care to advance treatment plans and patient comfort.

The role emphasizes infection control, compliance with safety regulations, and ongoing patient education as part of a high-quality dental team.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training.
• State requirements for certifications/licensures such as radiograph exposure.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment with urgency.
• Support the Perfect Patient Experience while addressing patient needs.
• Prepare treatment rooms, maintain cleanliness and sterility.
• Take X-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and other regulations.
• Assist with patient records and treatment documentation.
