Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Temporary/Full-time Registered Counselor in California to support patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder.

The counselor will provide individual and group counseling and collaborate with doctors, nurses and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate progress and plan care. Responsibilities include initial assessments, treatment planning, aftercare and discharge planning, and responding to patient concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be registered Counselor in the State of California.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
• Conduct initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated.
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
