The candidate should be a CA-registered counselor with experience with chemically dependent individuals, a positive attitude, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered counselor in the State of California.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
• Maintain a positive, non-judgmental attitude towards patients.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling and coordinate services.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine eligibility for services.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Establish individualized treatment plans and review as clinically indicated.
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
