Overview: Sentara CarePlex Hospital, in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring an Electrophysiology Specialist. This is a full time, day shift position.

Hours Monday – Friday: Four/10 hour shifts per week No call! No Weekends!

The Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants. Provides patient care to all electrophysiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of all pertinent information related to their procedure. Also provides didactic and clinical training.

Education: High School Grad or Equivalent. Graduate of a cardiovascular technology program or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).

Certification/Licensure: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Reg Cardio Invasive Spec (RCIS) or registry eligible (Required). BLS ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Experience: 1 year of related experience (Preferred).

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.66 - $62.82 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
