Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. New grads welcome; up to $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance offered.

Multiple shifts available, including days and nights, with a 36-hour weekly scheduled framework. The role involves patient assessment/admission, medication administration, family communication, and comprehensive patient care on a telemetry-enabled 24-bed unit.

Formación

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• RN degree as listed (AS/BS/ Diploma/ MSN).

Multiple Shift: Days & Nights Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekly Scheduled: 36

Responsibilities

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

License & Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Unit Description

This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Stroke unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
