Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment and provide patient care in a diagnostic setting.

You will perform standard ultrasound exams across age groups, coordinate with radiologists, and follow established standards and safety practices. Graduation from an AMA‑approved program and BCLS certification upon hire are required; no prior experience is needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
