Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care in New Haven, CT is seeking two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our parent-founded, clinician-led ABA team. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in-school, or in-community under a BCBA’s treatment plans and collaborate with families to ensure client success.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay ($22–$32/hour), in-person BCBA supervision, paid training and certification assistance, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time #1: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and weekends (10 AM - 5 PM on Sunday preferred but flexible)
• Part Time #2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 PM (weekends flexible if needed)
• Location: New Haven, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
