Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in homes, schools, or community settings. You will implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA and help families track progress.

This in-person role offers flexible part-time schedules, competitive pay, and opportunities for supervision and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour

• Part-Time #1: Mon , Wed 4PM-7PM

  Fri 4PM-6:30PM

  Sat 10AM - 1:00PM

  Sun 10AM -1:30PM

• Location: Fairfield, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
