Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care in Vernon, CT is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings. You will implement BCBA-designed plans, collect data, and collaborate with families to support client progress.

The role offers part-time schedules with pay rates from $22 to $32 per hour and opportunities for growth. In-person supervision and comprehensive benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour

• Part-Time #1: Monday to Friday 3:30 – 6:30 PM and 30 hours a week starting 6/19 (schedule TBD)

• Part-Time #2: Monday to Friday 3:30 – 6:30 PM

• Location: Vernon, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
