Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At a Time care in Hamden, CT is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings under a BCBA. You will help collect data on client progress and support families to ensure client success.

This role offers flexible schedules, paid training and certification assistance, and opportunities for growth within a clinician-led team. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and PTO options.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h3>

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:<\/h3>

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time #1: Thursday and Friday 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday 3:00-6:00 PM
• Location: Hamden, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:<\/h3>

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
