Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care in Vernon, CT seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school or community settings. You will implement plans created by a BCBA and help collect data on client progress, contributing to positive outcomes for children.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check. Some college is preferred, and professional development is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time #1: Monday to Friday 3:30 – 6:30 PM and 30 hours a week starting 6/19 (schedule TBD)
• Part-Time #2: Monday to Friday 3:30 – 6:30 PM
• Location: Vernon, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
