Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Monroe, CT. The role offers part-time hours with after-school and evening availability to support in-home, in-school, or community settings.

The RBT will implement BCBA-designed treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families to promote client progress. A background check is required, and travel locally may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for RBTs.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 3:30 – 6:30 PM / Wednesday and Thursday 3:30 - 7: 30 PM and weekends (Saturday 10 AM - 1 PM preferred or flexible)
• Location: Monroe, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
