Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care in Fairfield, CT is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinician-led team. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings under supervision by a BCBA to support client progress.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with families, adherence to ethical standards, and ongoing professional development, with flexible schedules and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time #1: Mon , Wed 4PM-7PM
• Fri 4PM-6:30PM
• Sat 10AM - 1:00PM
• Sun 10AM -1:30PM
• Location: Fairfield, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
