Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care in Southington, CT is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinician-led team. You will provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings under a BCBA-designed treatment plan.

Flexible part-time schedule (Mon, Wed 3-7 PM and weekends), competitive pay ($22-$30/hour), and benefits including paid training, supervision, and retirement options are offered to support your professional growth and commitment to client

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous ABA therapy or experience with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for RBTs.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect and document data on client progress.

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.

• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.

• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour

• Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 PM and weekends (10 AM - 4 PM or flexible)

• Location: Southington, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
