Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinician-led team. We provide in-home, in-school, and community ABA therapy focused on outcomes and client success.

The role includes assisting BCBA-designed plans, data collection, and collaboration with families. Part-time hours with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Background check must be passed and reliability demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $32/hour
• Part-Time #1: Monday -Thursday 4:00 PM - 6:30PM , Friday 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Location: Meriden, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
