Job summary

Child Builders ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home, school, and community settings. You will implement behavior plans designed by the BCBA, collect accurate data, and support skill acquisition in communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the BCBA and team, maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice, and delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• RBT training/certification preferred; course offered for new staff if needed.
• BACB‑registered RBT certification preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and data collection techniques required.
• Ability to travel to client locations and implement behavior plans with fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or community settings using BCBA-designed behavior plans.
• Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
• Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.
• Provide feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and observed changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of behavior analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, community) using the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.

• Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.

• Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.

• Provide feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and any observed changes in behavior.

• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of behavior analysis.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay range: $20 - $25 /hour

• Full-time, part-time shifts available

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.

• Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program preferred, but we will offer the course for any new staff

• Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.

• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement ABA techniques effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations as needed.
