Job summary

Consultants for Children, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide high-quality, 1:1 ABA services in home, school, community, and center-based settings.

You will work under close supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA and help progress through individualized treatment plans. The role focuses on building communication, social, play, daily living, and pre-academic skills using evidence-based ABA techniques and positive reinforcement, while collecting data and collaborating

Registered Behavior Technician

Full-Time opening: 30-35 hours/week in center varying between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday

Part-Time opening: 20 hours per week, in center between 12pm-5pm Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality, 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home, school, community, and center-based settings. This position works under the close supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA and plays a key role in supporting client progress through consistent implementation of individualized treatment plans.

As an RBT, you will work directly with children using evidence-based ABA techniques and positive reinforcement to build communication, social, play, daily living, and pre-academic skills.

RBT Position Summary:

The RBT will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to clients with Autism and other related developmental disabilities in the home, clinic, community, and/or school settings. The RBT will collect clinical data on programs and assist the BCBA and/or BCaBA with tracking progress and clinical preference assessments as needed, directly.

RBT Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implement one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention programs to children in a home, school or other environments as needed
• Observe and collect data on the child's behavior
• Teach child the specific behavior skills called for in the treatment plan
• Attend regular supervisory meetings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries

Position Requirements:

• Active RBT certification (if not RBT certified, see our Behavior Technician posting)
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively participate in play (running, kneeling, crawling, standing)
• Adherence to RBT Ethics Code and company policies
• Clean background check and positive professional references
• Patience, energy, and genuine interest in working with children
• Flexible with scheduling and program needs, able to work independently and collaboratively

Pay Range:

$20.50–$26.99 per hour, based on years of experience as an RBT.

*Hiring Bonus: $250 hiring bonus paid at the time of hire. The bonus is subject to repayment if employment ends before the completion of 90 days with CFCI.
