Job summary

Consultants for Children, Inc. (CFCI) is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA services in home, school, community, and center settings.

The role works under supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans to promote progress in communication, social and pre-academic skills. The position emphasizes flexible 15-20 hours per week with potential to move to full-time and a strong emphasis on long-term

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and participate in play.
• Adherence to RBT Ethics Code and company policies.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality, 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home, school, community, and center-based settings. This position works under the close supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA and plays a key role in supporting client progress through consistent implementation of individualized treatment plans.

As an RBT, you will work directly with children using evidence-based ABA techniques and positive reinforcement to build communication, social, play, daily living, and pre-academic skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement1:1 ABA intervention programsin home, school, or community settings
• Observe, collect, and record data on client behavior
• Teach skills outlined in individualized treatment plans
• Participate in regular supervision with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Maintain professional boundaries and clear communication with families and team members
• Complete timely and accurate data collection using tablet or computer systems

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (if not RBT certified, see our Behavior Technician posting)
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively participate in play (running, kneeling, crawling, standing)
• Adherence to RBT Ethics Code and company policies
• Clean background check and positive professional referencesPatience, energy, and genuine interest in working with children
• Flexible with scheduling and program needs, able to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to long‑term role and organizational mission
• Coachable, reliable, professional, and growth mindset

Pay Range

• $20.50/hour - $26.99/hour, based on years of experience as an RBT.
• Note: This rate includes a geographic pay differential based on the cost of living in this job location
