Ascend Rehab Inc. is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for school-based services in Oakland, CA.
The role involves providing ABA-based interventions under supervision, delivering 1:1 and small-group sessions with young children, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support development. Responsibilities include data collection, implementing behavior plans, and supporting daily routines, with a strong emphasis on safety and ethical guidelines.
Location:Oakland, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday
The RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s growth and development in a fun, structured environment.
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA
Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting
Collect and document accurate data and session notes
Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills
Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0–5
CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with hands‑on care including diaper changing
Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention
Bilingual (preferred, not required)
Coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or ABA
