Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for school-based services in the Newark/Hayward/Redwood City area, CA. The role provides ABA interventions under supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA in a supportive, child-centered environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, collaborating with teachers and families, collect data, and support children 0–5 with daily routines and social skills. Qualified candidates have RBT cert, CPR, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0–5.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Comfortable with hands‑on care including diaper changing.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

The RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s growth and development in a fun, structured environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention
• Bilingual (preferred, not required)
